july 2025!

i love being home. i just sleep and antique and make lattes at the sweetest place in the world. except i lied and it is awesome except the dishwasher at work is broken right now and i get out an hour late every day now.

7/11 DAY!!!! took a train all the way to pollet walk just to get my free slurpee. shoutout lizzy mcalpine

I know i was on a long bender between home, philly, and other places but I also suck at taking photos so somehow I ended up in new jersey for a beach week!! happy 6 months! we stayed in my coworkers 1960s style home in avalon and biked probably 40 miles in just a few days. the bagels at avalon coffee are simply insane and i can't stop thinking about them. arlo + pilar and kai + owen came to visit for a day as well and even though it started out rainy we ended up just chatting until the sun sort of came out and we had a fantastic swim. i love my girls and avalon and chicken fingers.

tattoo week! the ear didn't hurt at all but i did get four different tattoos that day

omg omg so it was the best day of the summer but it did not start that way. we were running late to begin with, we both left straight from work and made minimal stops yet the time was already 5pm and the show was starting and we were an hour drive away. our plan was to drive to fern rock and then express subway to nrg. philly's plan was to shut down several stops and have us get on and off the subway until it was now 6:30. the show in question was 3 performers at fdr park, jay som (who we like), hop along (who we LOVE and bought the tickets for), and lucy dacus (who we don't mind). by the time we had finally gotten off the subway the park was crawling with people and we figured we had missed at least half hop alongs set. we went running up to the ticket line and we were immediately stopped by a worker who questioned us. we apologized for being late and he, who that day was a prophet to us, informed us the show had not even started yet and all of south philly was in a rainstorm for the past two hours. so anyways we turned around and saw the huge line of people waiting through the delay. we then ran into an angel that was one of zachs friends, celia, and we all had great spots the whole show. hop along played every song we wanted and had so much fun with the other twenty people screaming every word. the only videos i have are so awfully filmed since we were jumping around and screaming so instead i've uploaded the night sky. so yeah best day ever.

the rest of july was a ton of rain storms and i just napped and watched movies while listening to the trees sway. perfect month tbh.

anyways that is all for july and now here is my bedroom because soon i will have to take it all down for move in ;(
