october 2025!

LOVE is in the air! Can you think of a more perfect way to start the month? Zach's older brother Alex had the most beautiful wedding to the lovely Sam and it was nothing short of magical and perfect and wonderful and magnificent. An abridged Running in Circles performed cocktail hour and Lila and I ran around the whole night laughing and dancing. Cheers to my first ever wedding and the happy couple!

#denimparty was so lit we got home, put hashbrowns in and fell asleep. The pucks made for lovely decor as I welcomed my parents and gracie to the place for family weekend! Tyler was open for some people's work and Billy and Pilar showed us all around and brought us to his wonderful photos he's taken.(of me) We fought through the rain and went to the football game that we subsequently lost but i would never call an evening with my parents, gracie, and crabfries a loss. before my parents left we went to luckys last chance which has been a recent fixation of mine and it was epic.

And the best weekend of the year...mental health day that we manipulated into a 5 day weekend and trip to Pittsburgh. As you may have read, this summer Zach and I visited Pitt together and what started as a "this would be a cool place to live" became searching zillow and real logistical planning. This visit only confirmed our eagerness. We brought our bikes and spent most of the weekend on them. I met some super cool city worker outside a coffee shop and we had like impromptu girl talk while she smoked her cigarette. She may have been slightly unstable but it made for wonderful conversation. We stayed with beautiful gracie and her perfect roommates. Our last morning we biked Three river heritage trail and then got primanti bros on the strip, went to my favorite vintage store Hey Betty, and got some mediocre dinner with my cousin.
Great stuff as always but then it was time for the real goal of the trip. If you are familiar with food deserts you have likely seen a photo of Breezewood PA, a turnpike town mostly consisting of fast food. However! It also features an abandoned turnpike tunnel turned bike trail. If you go bring spray paint, a flashlight, and anyone but Zach. It gets pitch black in there and if you are easily scared it may be your personal hell. Anyways the place was sick and I saw a ladybug that calmed me down.

It was still a beautiful weekend and peak foliage across the state and we ended the weekend with a bike ride through grings mill. The month was so super sweet and brought lovely quiet mornings (fridge reveal featuring Izzy's sweet print I bought at the art market)

here's my hey betty haul & omg I was trusted with another needoh and it routinely broke within three days.

Alright that's all for October, byeeeeeee.
