media of the month!!

hi hello! welcome to the media OTM, this is just my monthly consumption dump i suppose. it's good to keep track of these things and since the monthly blogs are more life recaps this is where I can dump the rest. i think i'll change the layout soon but for now, enjoy

NOVEMBER

snocaps self-titled surprise album is so great, my favorite tracks are coast 2 and wasteland. i just found the belair lip bombs but they have the exact sound i love, especially because i just love australian accents in songs. and no surprise phoebe's christmas ep is here, it's the time of the year and perhaps i started early but seriously miss her so much i need new music.

also listened to fievel is glaque's album rong weicknes, great stuff. i'm getting very excited for ratboys new album but just playing the singles for now. and lastly, i listened to palomas radio show and took some songs. 300 dreams by after is so mesmerizing. but you can always just check out my playlists for more.

SUMMER MEDIA...kinda

so i got the idea to do this during the summer but i didn't keep track of anything so i am simply going to brief you on the things i consumed this summer and then from november on will be more accurate and just better

liz phair forever and always but especially this summer since i found two of her cds! samantha crain's gumshoe was such a delight of a score while i explored my backyard and laid in the sun all july. she's great and she's fun and you guys should check her out if you like lorde or just good music? anyways samia has also consistently been a go to for the early days of may so perfect timing with this one.

summer is usually my lowest music consumption since i go back to the classics but i did get way more into ratboys, waxahatchee, & tennis. also listened to man's best friend, bleeds, & straight line was a lie. all 3 very great and kind of instant loves.

so i started watching svu sometime in may casually but i can report that is has become a full blown addiction at this point. i particularly enjoy the earlier seasons as i'm sure most do nathan fielder is a genius. #therehearsal

as for movies, i am becoming so violently anti-AMC. it is just so expensive and bad? i think movie theaters can have awful seats and even bad popcorn but i draw the line at bad quality on the screen for 20 bucks. so anyways i just didn't see very many movies this summer but i did absolutely love The Substance so naturally the summer film Together intrigued me, however it let me down tragically. it's not like the worst movie ever but i just wish i streamed it instead. i really have to start logging the movies i watched but that's all i have to say for this summer in film.

ok so onto other content. every big 3 in my life includes youtube. it's my life, it's my love. i watched a ton of caleb hearons podcast so true as well as this wonderful home decor gal caroline winkler she just got this awesome new apartment and the series she's doing and her advice is just the best.
