august 2025!

ugh some of the last dreamy nights of the summer. chappell roan thanks for everything and especially subway

Happy august! We had a random start to the month by going to washington dc for the day with my parents. We were supposed to go to so many museums but if you have never been to the national postal museum you must go now. they had to kick us out it was so epic. here's us at the musuem of women in the farts. (they yelled at us and therefore they get that nickname)

Kai and I at the speedway?

I honestly do not remember this walk or most of the night but after getting back from dc we immediately drove to owen's and slept over there. we woke up and went to breakfast at my grammy's favorite diner with her. she's more than a regular there i'm serious she does not play about this place.

KUTZTOWN FAIR!!

i love county and state fairs more than anything in the world and this was literally the epitome of fairs. We took masa sushi to go and ate it on a picnic blanket in some field and just reminisced on our summer break and then spent one last magical evening in pennsyltucky. Some highlights include fried oreos, the rehrig brothers (a conway twitty cover band that us and twenty old couples watched), a trapeze act, and a deep fried uncrustable?

Before i knew it I was in Philadelphia, moved into my abode, and ready for training. This years training was so fun, our new e board members are the sweetest girls ever and we got very wrapped up in an app called 'Goose Chase'. It was full of missions and things to complete during training so we filmed a full music video and several raps. We somehow lost?? I won't say anymore on that but we got to go to Ambler campus and run around it was awesome.

also went home that weekend to go antiquing and see sweet pickle.

My uber kept talking about Owl Breakfast and I was just telling him I had never gone before but he wouldn't drop it and then literally 3 minutes from my place he pulled into a spot asked if I wanted anything and ordered breakfast. Really awesome stuff.

LIVE FROM NEW YORK! it's a miserable girl.

I famously hate new york because of the crowds and watching too much SVU but zach and I managed to have a lovely trip there. We went to the Whitney and saw so much awesome art and a very special painting below. But then when all was going well and the rain was merely a mist, downpour struck and things started looking very bad. My boots were soaked, we couldn't find an umbrella, everything we wanted to do was outside and even strawberry fields could not cheer me up.

But you know what does always cheer me up? A burger and brandy melville.

baby's first florine stettheimer irl!!!

JG Melon you guys rock

The day was saved and all in all it was only the second worst day in new york history.

performative male contest

franklin fountain with sweet pea. their vegan mint chip is lowkey life changing

also #banadené is a series I'm starting of all of the effed up bananas Adené will somehow eat.

trip to barnes! we both had never been before and i've heard some pretentious takes on this place...and i do not care! it was awesome and i didn't know i would ever see so many famous works in one afternoon! art is always cool and awesome no matter what.

RILO KILEY!!!! we arrived early in asbury park to walk around and scope out the line. natalie bergman was a fantastic opener and we got barricade!! we were the youngest people there and even after 20 years apart the whole set was flawless! absolutely electric. you'll have to pause the rilo kiley already playing on this page but i love this song and you can watch them rock! also hit lormer park w carson & koda before

august, die she must.
